SENSORY GARDEN AS A REHABILITATION LANDSCAPE SPACE FOR THE MILITARY

The purpose of the study is to determine the role and methods of organizing a sensory garden for the psychological and physical rehabilitation of military personnel. The research methods are based on a comprehensive functional-structural analysis, the use of comparative and historical methods, and the method of complex analysis. Results. The article highlights the principles and methods of organizing a sensory garden as a rehabilitation landscape space for the military. The author updates the issue of the importance of a sensory garden for the treatment and rehabilitation of military personnel. Methods for creating a sensory garden taking into account the needs of people with disabilities are considered. The topic of the article is very relevant today, when many military personnel, after injuries, after exposure to stress factors that lead to the development of constant tension and a depressive state, need progressive methods of rehabilitation and treatment. The article reveals the possibilities of a sensory garden to comprehensively influence a person's psycho-emotional state through the senses, which significantly improves the overall condition. The therapeutic function of a sensory garden in the treatment of military personnel with post-traumatic stress disorder, injuries, and other diseases is highlighted. The article provides examples of sensory garden projects that can be implemented in Ukraine for rehabilitation and therapeutic purposes. Conclusions. The scientific novelty of this publication lies in the presentation of a sensory garden as a rehabilitation landscape space for military personnel. Analysis of research on this topic has shown that the natural environment improves the physical and emotional health of people, sensory gardens create an ideal space for rehabilitation and therapy of military personnel. The results of the study can be used to organize improvements in the territory of medical and recreational facilities, as well as in urban areas.
