FORMATION OF PUBLIC SECURITY CENTERS DURING THE REVITALISATION OF UKRAINIAN CITIES

Abstract

The purpose of the study. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors affecting the choice of location of civil security stations and their functional features in different areas of the city in the context of post-war revitalization. Research methods. In order to achieve the goal, authors considered the problems faced by emergency and rescue services in Ukraine, especially in the context of war and emergency situations related to it. The article uses a complex of theoretical and empirical research methods. Using deduction and induction, synthesis and comparison, analysis and modeling, systematization and generalization, authors proceed to a systematic review of current practices for the placement of civil safety stations, the study of their impact on the sustainable development of urban areas, and the development of new approaches to the planning and placement of civil safety stations with the aim of improving the efficiency of their work and ensuring sustainable renovation of urban areas. The information base of the article is research and publications related to the methods of prospective formation of civil security stations in the context of urban revitalization under the condition of sustainable development of the city. The development of this information base was carried out using a systematic approach, methods of analysis, comparison and generalization. Main results and conclusions. The article draws a conclusion on the expediency of choosing a typology of civil security stations as a city-forming factor in the revitalization of cities. Authors proposed the integrated placement of all involved emergency services in one architectural block (building) as an economically and functionally expedient solution that can be implemented together with the reform of emergency response services in Ukraine. The experience of implementing such a typology can be useful for finding new ways of optimizing the functions of public buildings and revitalizing cities around institutions of primary importance, identifying new relationships between city services and city functioning.
