THE CLASSIFICATION OF ART-CENTER BUILDINGS IN THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE REGIONS OF UKRAINE

Abstract. The purpose of this article is to define and form a general classification of Art centers of Ukraine in order to improve the existing network of cultural and household services for the population with these objects. Research methods. The research is based on the methods of functional and planning analysis and the study of the dependence of the location of creative centers and their social impact of art centers on the local community. The results. The text analyzes the criteria for the classification of Ukrainian art centers and attempts to update the established approaches. Examples of Ukrainian art centers are listed according to certain features (functional vector, placement in the city structure, social influence, radius of this influence, method of territory development). Different types of Ukrainian art centers are considered, such as galleries, museums, spaces for artistic events, for work and youth cooperation, as well as centers that deal with the general distribution of Ukrainian art regardless of type and genre. The text provides a general idea of the variety of art centers in Ukraine, their functions, significance for culture as a whole. The classification of Ukrainian creative centers is an important tool for understanding the specifics of these cultural institutions, their harmonious functioning as separate units, which together form the general network of art centers of our country. Depending on each of the above criteria, it is possible to understand which audience the art center is designed for, which type of exhibitions and events is most characteristic of it, and what role it plays in the formation of the art scene of Ukraine. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of each of the characteristics and requirements, a classification of Art centers of Ukraine was determined and formulated, which will contribute to the formation and further development of the cult ural environment of the regions of Ukraine.
