APPLICATION OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES IN ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE DOCUMENTATION

Abstract

Abstract. Research objective. This article is dedicated to promoting innovative remote surveying methods for historic architectural objects in challenging and hazardous conditions. It systematizes practical experience in recording graphical information about the wooden Doctors' House in the village of Moshny, Cherkasy region, designed by the renowned architect Vladislav Gorodetsky. Although the building does not have the official status of an architectural monument in Ukraine, it requires preservation and protection. In the context of military aggression, where traditional research methods become impractical, the use of remote technologies is critically important for safeguarding cultural heritage. Research methods. The study involved the analysis of archival materials, photogrammetric documentation, and partial on-site surveys. Additionally, methods of descriptive geometry and 3D modeling were applied in the research process. Research results. The application of software such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 7, and Enscape enabled the creation of accurate façade drawings and a detailed 3D model of the building, facilitating further research, popularization, and contributing to the potential inclusion of the structure in the State Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage of Ukraine. Conclusions. The study demonstrated the effectiveness of combining traditional and modern instrumental methods for architectural research. The experience of first-year students from the Faculty of Architecture at KNUCA highlighted the potential for involving young specialists in documenting architectural heritage objects, even under the chal lenging conditions of military aggression.
