CLASSICAL AND INNOVATIVE TENDENCY IN THE LANDSCAPE GENRE IN THE CREATIVITY OFDRAWING TEACHERS OF THE NAFAA OF AT THE END OF THE 20TH – AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider and analyze the classical and innovative trends in the development of the landscape genre in the work of teachers of the Department of Drawing of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (the leading educational institution of Ukraine in the field of art education) in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Analysis of the landscape works of V. Nikitin, Yu. Larionov, V. Maghalas, Yu. Rubashov, A. Gaidar and A. Nikitin allows us to trace how the foundation of the classical school becomes the basis for bold plastic and conceptual solutions of the present. It has been established that it is the harmonious combination of traditions and innovations in the activities of the department that provides a unique contribution of its masters to the formation of the visual code of national art. The research methodology is based on a set of scientific methods, the leading ones being iconological, comparative-historical, cultural-historical and historical-biographical. The use of these methods contributed to the comprehensive study of the creative work of the teachers of the Department of Drawing and made it possible to systematize their creativity in the genre of landscape. The organization of visual activity was based on a holistic perception and relevant principles, as well as on the methods of systematization, classification, synthesis, figurative-stylistic and art-historical understanding. Results. Based on the data obtained, it can be stated that the effectiveness of solving the tasks set is due to the harmonious combination of traditional experience with innovative strategies. Emphasis is placed on the importance of integrating classical developments into the modern technological and ideological-artistic environment. Conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the teachers of the Department of Drawing of NAOMA effectively combine the achievements of previous generations with innovative ideas and approaches and ensure a h igh level of solving creative tasks.
