Aim and Objectives of the Journal
Bulletin of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture is an electronic scholarly journal that brings together researchers, academics, lecturers, higher education students, and early-career scholars with the aim of presenting the results of theoretical and practical research in the field of architecture and urban planning within the contemporary European academic space. The journal is aimed at promoting current scientific achievements, supporting the development of architectural science, and fostering the emergence of a new generation of researchers and practitioners in the fields of architecture and urban studies.
The main objective of the journal is to create a modern scientific communication platform for the exchange of ideas, research results, and professional experience among scholars, architects, lecturers, and students of higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad. The journal promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, the integration of architectural research into the international academic community, and the development of scientific cooperation between the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture and other scientific and educational institutions.
Scope of the Journal
Within the theoretical and research-oriented sections, the journal publishes original scholarly articles devoted to current issues in architecture and urban planning, including:
theory and history of architecture;
architectural design and contemporary trends in architectural practice;
urban studies and the development of urban environments;
issues of residential and public architecture;
preservation, revitalization, and research of architectural heritage;
innovative technologies in architecture and urban planning;
architectural education and methods of professional training.
The section “Reviews, Critiques, and Overviews” includes scholarly reviews, analytical materials, and critiques of contemporary architectural projects, exhibitions, conferences, academic publications, and other events in the field of architecture and urban planning.
The journal is open to publications by Ukrainian and international researchers and aims to promote the results of contemporary architectural studies, integrate Ukrainian architectural scholarship into the global academic space, and develop professional dialogue in the field of architecture and urban planning.
